Please be advised that we have been notified recently that individuals are posing as utility employees in an effort to obtain money from our customers. The individuals approach customers and demand cash payment for a supposed delinquent water bill, and threaten to disconnect the water service if the customer doesn’t comply.
Please be advised that these individuals are not employees of our company, and none of our employees are allowed to accept cash payments in the field. If you are approached by someone demanding a cash payment, please obtain as much information as possible, including any personal identification and license plate number information, and immediately contact your local Police or Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, please contact your local customer service office at the number listed in the “Customer Center” section of this website.
